International Women's Day 2022- Author Visit

I had the pleasure of reading Ada’s Wash Day and a Q&A session to the students in my daughter’s class as part of International Women’s Day celebrations. We discussed the burning themes of empowerment, self acceptance and identity from the book. The key takeaway, which I wanted the kids to leave with was that in trying to forge a more gender equal world, we need to establish a world that is diverse, inclusive, and fair for ALL women and girls.
