A 90 minute strategy session to help you brainstorm and get clarity on your picture book idea, a clear structure to writing, editing and publishing your book and a clear strategy to help you brand and market your book to your target audience.
Hands on support
1:1 support from someone who has been where you’re at. I will provide feedback, help you ideate opportunities and act as a sounding board so that you can move forward confidently and quickly.
Templates & Resources
Includes a workbook to help you get clarity on your story and characters; storyboarding template, writing prompts, and templates for connecting with illustrators, bookshops, schools and libraries to get your book in the hands of your target audience.
In 2021, I set up my own coaching business and pivoted into the world of publishing to fulfil a long time dream of mine to publish a children's picture book.
Through a combination of persistence, trial & error & a solid strategy, I successfully published my debut book, ‘Ada’s Wash Day’.
‘Ada’s Wash Day debuted at Number 1 on the Bestseller list in the “Bullying” category on Amazon.nl (my home marketplace). Within 6 weeks of publication, I sold c500 books through a combination of online and in person sales and already made back my initial investment to publish my book.
After publishing my book, I was inundated with messages of support and questions from other aspiring authors, who wanted to make an impact with their own picture book! That was my aha moment!
I now want to use my skills and knowledge to help other aspiring authors realise their own dream, generate consistent sales & make an impact with their picture book.
